Where It Began
Lottiebox started with a simple frustration—while exploring Lottie animations, we realized that most existing solutions were either difficult to use, lacked quality, or didn’t provide ready-to-use animations for real product needs. As designers and co-founders, we saw a clear gap—there was no platform that made high-quality, eye-catching animations easily accessible for designers and developers. This led us to build a platform where anyone can find, copy, and use beautiful animations effortlessly—without complexity.
Challenge
The product needed to solve a fundamental gap between design and implementation. While Lottie animations are powerful, they are often not easily usable, require effort to integrate, or lack consistency in quality.
The goal was to create a platform that feels simple and intuitive, while still delivering visually engaging and high-quality animations that can be directly used in real products.
At the same time, the challenge was not just about building a library—but about designing an experience where users can quickly discover, understand, and implement animations without friction.
Balancing simplicity, usability, and visual appeal—while building everything from scratch, including product, website, illustrations, and animations—was the core goal.
We approached Lottiebox as a creator-first platform—focusing on accessibility, usability, and visual quality.

Execution & Outcome
Lottiebox was built as a complete product from the ground up over 4–6 months, covering design, animation, and platform experience. What started as an internal idea quickly gained traction and was recognized as Product of the Day on Product Hunt and Product of the Month on EarlyShark, validating both the need and execution of the product. The platform enabled users to easily access and use high-quality animations, making it simpler for designers and developers to enhance their products.
