A Membership-Driven Hospitality Experience System

Where It Began

The client approached us to design a mobile app focused on hospitality membership and benefits. Unlike traditional hotel apps, this product was centered around selling memberships that unlock exclusive dining, stay, and lifestyle experiences. They provided a broad structure of features including membership tiers, vouchers, reservations, and redemption flows—but the experience lacked clarity and direction. The goal was to transform this into a seamless and intuitive product that not only delivers value but also encourages users to become paying members.

Challenge

The product was built around a membership-driven model where the core goal was to convert users into paying members. This required presenting complex membership tiers, benefits, and vouchers in a way that feels clear, valuable, and easy to understand from the first interaction.

The experience needed to clearly communicate the difference between plans like Gold and Platinum, helping users quickly compare value and make confident decisions while maintaining a premium and aspirational feel.

At the same time, the product involved multiple connected flows—including membership purchase, room booking, table reservations, and voucher redemption—which needed to feel seamless and intuitive. Users also required full visibility into their benefits, including how many vouchers are available, how many are used, and how to redeem them effortlessly

Balancing clarity, conversion, and a rich experience—while structuring a complete membership lifecycle from discovery to booking and redemption—was the core challenge.

    Designed an easy-to-scan comparison between Gold and Platinum plans, helping users instantly understand differences in benefits, vouchers, and value

  • Making vouchers transparent and actionable
    Defined how many vouchers users receive, what they include, and how they can be redeemed—ensuring complete clarity and reducing confusion

  • Structuring the full membership lifecycle
    Designed flows from purchase → benefit discovery → booking → redemption, ensuring a seamless and connected user journey

  • Simplifying booking and reservation experience
    Streamlined table and room reservation flows to reduce friction and support quick decision-making

  • Designing activity and tracking visibility
    Created a clear activity system where users can track used and remaining vouchers, reinforcing value and encouraging continued usage

  • Balancing premium feel with usability
    Maintained a rich, aspirational visual experience while ensuring clarity, readability, and ease of interaction

Execution & Outcome

The solution was built as a structured and scalable membership experience, combining clear information architecture with a premium visual system. Key flows like membership purchase, voucher usage, and reservations were simplified and connected into a seamless journey. This resulted in an intuitive product where users can easily understand membership value, compare plans, track benefits, and redeem vouchers—while encouraging higher conversion into paid memberships.
